Luncheon Presentation by Regeneron: Diagnosing and Assessing Prurigo Nodularis and Dupixent: The First and Only Treatment for Adults with Prurigo Nodularis (Non-CME)

Learn about the clinical presentation and diagnostic workup of prurigo nodularis (PN).

Presenter: Matthew Lewis, MD, MPH – Stanford Health Care
Dr. Lewis specializes in autoimmune connective tissue diseases, immunobullous diseases, and other inflammatory skin diseases including psoriasis and sarcoidosis. He completed medical school at The George Washington University School of Medicine and dermatology residency at The University of Rochester, where he was chief resident. He also completed a Master’s of Public Health at Johns Hopkins and a fellowship in autoimmune connective tissue diseases at Stanford University. He believes multidisciplinary and holistic care is key to treat patients with systemic inflammatory diseases. He holds a rheumatology-dermatology clinic with a rheumatologist, Dr. Janice Lin, as well as a dermatology-ophthalmology clinic with an ophthalmologist, Dr. Christopher Ta, and is the dermatologist for the sarcoidosis program, all with this primary goal of providing high quality, collaborative, patient-centered care.

Presenter: Carolyn Goh, MD – Encino Specialty Care
Dr. Goh practices general medical dermatology with a specialty in hair loss and scalp disorders. She did undergraduate studies at Stanford University with a major in Comparative Studies in Race and Ethnicity with a minor in Human Biology. She completed medical school at Weill Medical College of Cornell University with honors in both research and community service. She did an internship in internal medicine at Harbor-UCLA Medical Center and completed her residency at New York-Presbyterian Hospital/Cornell in New York City. Her research and clinical interests are in all types of hair loss including alopecia areata and scarring alopecia. She has been active with patient advocacy groups and local support groups for patients with hair loss.
