Medical Student Committee Liaison:Applications open June 1 and close June 30, with notifications sent in July. The term runs from the Fall Symposium through the following year’s Symposium, and students may attend their first Symposium as a guest if desired. The Medical Student Liaison (MSL) supports the Committee Chair by coordinating communication, tracking tasks, and assisting with onboarding, while also gaining exposure to organized dermatology, mentorship, and leadership opportunities. This role allows medical students to contribute meaningfully to committee initiatives, work closely with CalDerm staff, and develop skills in advocacy and organizational leadership. ![]() Volunteer Opportunities for Medical Students:At CalDerm, we offer exciting volunteer opportunities for Medical Students during our two annual events—the Fall Symposium and the NorCal Conference. As these events approach, you’ll have the chance to assist with key tasks such as staffing the registration desk, providing AV support, and helping attendees navigate sessions and Product Theatres. Volunteering is a great way to build your network, gain hands-on experience, and support the success of our organization.
